  • The applicant must be a permanent resident of the state of Bihar. (Applicant must be a permanent resident of Bihar state.)
  • The applicant’s caste should be included in the list of Backward Classes and Extremely Backward Classes Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes issued by the State Government.

  • According to the eligibility prescribed by the concerned department for a post-admission scholarship, the maximum total annual income of the parents/guardians including the applicant should be up to Rs.3.00 lakh for the financial year 2022-23. 
  • And from the financial year 2022-23, the upper limit of income of the parents/guardian of Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes applicants has been increased to 03.00 lakhs. 
  • In the future, the order issued by the concerned department regarding the maximum benefit of the parents/guardians will be considered applicable.
  • Under the post-admission scholarship scheme, only students studying in higher classes after passing the matriculation/entrance examination can apply for the scholarship.
  • After passing one level course, studying in another equivalent course will not be entitled to a scholarship, ie- I.Sc. After passing the examination of I.A., B.A. After passing the examination for B.Com. and M.Sc. The scholarship will not be given for studying in an M.A. class after doing.
  • The post-admission scholarship will be given only to 02 (two) sons of the applicant’s parents in backward and very backward classes. This rule will not apply to daughters, but this rule will not apply to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.
